Welcome to the website of Aspire's Langston Hughes Academy.  Aspire Langston Hughes Academy opened September 2006 by Aspire Public Schools, a leading non-profit public charter school organization in California. In 2016-2017, Langston Hughes serves approximately 700 students in grades 6-12.  Our focus is “College for Certain” and it is our vision that as a student graduates, they will transition into college with all of the skills and tools needed to be a successful part of the college of their choice.

The Aspire Langston Hughes Academy varsity baseball team won Tuesday's away conference game against Tioga by a score of 16-2. 


The Aspire Langston Hughes Academy varsity baseball team has a home conference game vs. Tioga today @ 4p. 


May 1st thru May 12th all students will be doing SBAC testing. Please read the attached letter for important information.

This Thursday at 8am, we are having our normal Spanish-language family coffee hour, and we will be having a guest panel on getting to college - and bringing our families along with us. Any juniors or seniors (who understand Spanish) are welcome to attend - please sign up with Mr. Luntao if you would like to join us.
